I have VMWare WS Pro 15.5.1 build-15018445 I need to simulate the state of Hibernation in a Win 10 VM. Microsoft has been de-emphasizing the hibernation mode in Windows for years, perhaps to reduce confusion with the very similar sleep mode, which is available in the shutdown options. To be clear, it is the program that must launch hibernation and this does not know that it is actually running inside a VM. ![]()
